ABOUT STAGEWORKS "StageWorks is one of the leading Performing Arts Schools for children aged 4 - 16 years. We believe the performing arts is a positive and creative environment that gives children of all ages confidence, self belief and determination. In the early years (3/4- 8) it helps develop the skills necessary for so much of their life.
At StageWorks we offer regular assessments for all the students and do this to encourage development in all aspects of the Performing Arts. We offer regular presentations and Christmas Showcases at local theatres and in some areas we perform in festivals and carnivals.
We have been very fortunate to have seen some of our students go on to perform professionally in The West End, Film and Television. Most recently 22 of our students were selected to be in the remake of The St Trinians Movie - featuring Rupert Everett, Colin Firth and Russell Brand. Other students have performed locally in Musicals - Oklahoma, Calamity Jane, Summer Holiday. Plays - The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.Mary Poppins in The West End, The King and I at The Royal Albert Hall, Disney Handy Manny Promotions on Disney Play Channel and some older students have gone on to dance in Cabaret Troupes. We have also produced Junior Star winners. StageWorks saw Harry Stott win the role of Oliver in the BBC 1 programme I’d do anything, we are very proud of Harry and hope that he continues to enjoy the run at The Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.
Some of our students have gone on to become Junior Teaching staff and are studying the Performing Arts at college while they get hands on experience with us at StageWorks. We have over 250 students and schools in Oxfordshire, Berkshire and South Gloucestershire. We have a team of young, dynamic professional, fully qualified, CRB checked tutors who work together to give StageWorks its edge in the Performing Arts industry "
